Day 1

Nairobi-Masai Mara

You will wake up for morning breakfast, and thereafter drive via Narok town to Maasai Mara National reserve, the land of the Maasai tribe. The proud young Maasai warrior-nomads with their plaited hair, red cloaks, and spears, challenge your curiosity. The 700-square-mile Game Reserve is the Africa of your dreams, complete with wild animals grazing amid the superb rolling landscape of gentle hills and acacia woodlands. Check in to your camp. 12.30pm lunch in the campsite. There will be time to settle in before your first game drive. 4.00pm Afternoon game drive in the reserve. Return to the camp before dark. 7.30pm. Dinner in the campsite. Overnight: Mara Wajee Tented camp LDB.

Day 2

Masai Mara National Reserve

After your breakfast you will leave with your picnic lunch for a full day game drive in the reserve in search of the big five as well as other numerous plain animals. You will have a lunch break in the reserve after which continue with your game drive till evening when you will return to your campsite for dinner and overnight.

You will have an opportunity to see Lion Cheetah and Leopard roam the vast grasslands in search for their next meal,

It may be an unsuspecting impala or even a small one like the warthog. Whatever the players The spectacle of nature unfolding is always awe inspiring!

Day 3

Masai Mara-Lake Naivasha

Today after your breakfast you will be free to get out of the park and the gate and be game driven on your way out to the Great Rift Valley. You will arrive at Lake Naivasha in the afternoon and you will have an optional boat ride to see the Hippos.

Overnight at the Safari Hotel.

Day 4

Green Crater Lake Walk

Breakfast will be at 7.00 am and you will be picked up by our driver guide at 8.00am. The road to the Green Crater Lake takes you out of Naivasha and along a rough and bumpy road down the edge of Lake Naivasha, passing by huge Greenhouses where roses and other flowers are grown for the export market. You will arrive at the Green Crater Lake at 9.30am approx and you will begin your morning game walk. The green Crater Lake was formed by volcanic activity. The group will walk in a reserve where it’s possible to get up close to Giraffe and many varieties of antelope. It’s a great opportunity for photos. The guides will answer questions about the animals, bird life etc and point out the rocks formed due to the volcanic activity. At 12.00pm you will leave for lunch at ‘carnelley’s camp’ about 20 minutes back down the road toward Naivasha town. In the afternoon you will enjoy some optional activities like cycling around the village or hire a small power boat for a trip out on to the lake.

Day 5

Lake Naivasha -Amboseli National Park

After breakfast we will depart the camp for Amboseli National Park via Nairobi. We will be arriving in the picturesque town of Amboseli in time for lunch. After checking in in the camp, you will have your afternoon game drive in park. Overnight at Kimana Tented Camp.

Day 6

Amboseli National Park

Spend a whole day in Amboseli National Park, with morning and afternoon game drives. This park is termed as an Animal’s paradise. In the morning, when the clouds are clear, you will have a chance to see the exposed snow -capped dome of Mt. Kilimanjaro. You will also be viewing animals such as Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, and Hippo etc.

Amboseli National Park is also a birdwatchers’ haven as it is home to a dizzying array of bird life.

All meals and overnight at Kimana Tented Camp.

Day 7

Amboseli-Arusha-Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast you will drive out of the park with the view of Mt Kilimanjaro, then drive to the boarder of Tanzania and Kenya at Namanga boarder, After the immigration clearance, you will be transferred to lake Manyara for its famous Tree climbing lions, You will arrive in for early game drive at 12pm you will set your early lunch then by 1500hrs you will leave for afternoon game drive.

Day 8

Lake Manyara-Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we will be transferring to the famous Serengeti National Park. This park is to Tanzania, what the Masai Mara Game Reserve is to Kenya. Covering 14,763 sq km, the Serengeti NP is dominated by vast, open plains with an abundance of wildlife. A picnic lunch will be provided en route, and the afternoon will be spent viewing game and absorbing the breathtaking scenery of the almost treeless plains of the Serengeti. After an early breakfast we will proceed on an early morning game drive, returning for a hearty lunch. After a brief rest, there will be an afternoon game drive to further explore this world-famous park. Dinner and overnight at Green Hills Tented Camp.

Day 9

Serengeti-Ngorongoro Crater

We will transfer to the Ngorongoro crater, via Olduvai Gorge. Ngorongoro is an impressive 20 km wide volcanic crater with 600 m walls. The views from the crater rim are breathtaking, and there is an ever-present abundance of wildlife, due to the permanent water supply on the crater floor. Olduvai Gorge is famed for the discovery of 3.5 million year-old fossil fragments of an early human civilization. We will enjoy lunch overlooking the crater, and the afternoon will be spent at leisure. We will embark on a half-day crater tour, overnight at Octagon Lodge.

Day 10


After breakfast we will transfer back to Arusha for your flight home. The tour ends in Arusha in the afternoon. Please note: While it is our intention to adhere to the route described above, there is a certain amount of flexibility built into the itinerary and on occasion it may be necessary, or desirable to make alterations.
